Senior Real Time Software Engineer

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Real Time Software Engineer to join the Flight Simulation organization's F/A-18 Trainers team located in St.
Louis, Mo.
This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.
This individual will lead development of F/A-18 avionics sensor models to be deployed in the US Navy and Royal Australia Air Force Tactical Operational Flight Trainer (TOFT).
Specifically, this position is focused on modeling the APG-79 radar.
Development of this model is shared with the larger Flight Simulation organization, and is then refined and integrated into the TOFT by the F/A-18 Trainers team.
Position
Responsibilities:
Leads activities to develop, document and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systemsLeads development of code and integration of complex software components into a fully functional software systemDevelops software verification plans, test procedures and test environments, executing the test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are metProvides technical leadership for software projects and leads software supplier management activitiesLeads development, selection, tailoring and deployment of processes, tools and metricsPlans, executes and documents software research and development projectsServes as a subject matter expert for software domains, system-specific issues, processes and regulationsTracks and evaluates software team and supplier performance to ensure product and process conformance to project plans and industry standardsWorks under minimal directionSecurity Clearance and Export Control Requirements:
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
Ability to obtain Interim Secret US Security clearance (Pre-Start).
Ability to obtain Secret US Security clearance (Post-Start).
Required Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience)In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standardTravel:
There will be 10% travel required with this position.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
